Family, friends, and loved ones are mourning the tragic and unexpected loss of Morabia Siddhi Suresh, 33, of Fremont, California, whose life was cut short following a devastating incident on Interstate 75 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, on June 8, 2026.
According to the Kentucky State Police, Morabia was involved in an initial collision on the northbound side of Interstate 75 near the 62-mile marker. In the aftermath of the crash, her beloved pet escaped from the vehicle. Concerned for the animal’s safety, Morabia exited her vehicle and attempted to retrieve it. During that effort, she entered the travel portion of the roadway and was struck by a passing Chevrolet Malibu.
Emergency responders rushed Morabia to Rockcastle Regional Hospital, where medical personnel worked tirelessly to save her life. Despite their efforts, she later succumbed to her injuries. The Rockcastle County Coroner’s Office officially pronounced her deceased.
