Kennedy (CVN-79) in Newport News, Virginia.
The devastating incident occurred during the early morning hours of Saturday, prompting an emergency response aboard the vessel, which is currently under construction at Newport News Shipbuilding. Despite efforts by responders, Jesse sadly passed away as a result of his injuries.
